ED Across America is the education initiative of the National Children’s Campaign which is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that serves as a catalyst to inspire and empower America to make children a priority.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to attend a public educational school system where children can reach their full potential regardless of race, socio-economic status, or disabilities.
Education is often referred to as one of the great equalizers, but over the years our educational systems have taken a drastic turn. From frequent budget cuts to stagnant wages for educators, lack of resources in classrooms, outdated curriculum, and so much more.
But the reality is that we understand the value of education and we believe in the incredible opportunities and doors that education can open for America’s children. As a first-generation college student, I have grown to cherish and value my education, and I want to make sure every child in America has that opportunity as well, regardless of race, social-economic status, or ability.
